So I’ve confirmed my faith…
What now?
Welcome to the choices of the adult Christian life. This year will be all about trying out ways we grow in faith and connect to the church for the rest of our lives. Some things will happen Sunday morning and some during youth group.
Here are some of the experiences already on the list:
- Finding my niche in the life of the church
- completing the repair and design of the Pilgrim House basement as a youth room (that others can use, too) + hosting the Open House
- attending the United Church of Christ National Youth Event, July 2008
- Exploring the arts (especially the visual arts, music and movies) as a spark for spiritual growth
- producing CUCC’s first T-shirts/bandanas (a project with the children)
- Choosing a topic for study and reflection and then doing it
- Praying – practice, practice, practice
- Connecting with friends – youth group is the time for service and friendship.
- Walk for Hope
- Marketplace of Meaningful Gifts Café (with Journey)
