CUCC Youth at Silver Lake
September 14, 2003
The
middle school youth group had an end-of summer outing at Silver Lake water
park in Raleigh on Sunday September 14, 2003. We were blessed with
nice weather and everyone had a good time. Thomas, Sam, Jack and
Austin attended. We got there around 12:30 had lunch and they
did all the activities (water slide, bumper boats, paddle boats, and of
course, swimming). As the weather had been bad earlier in the week
and it was the last weekend the park would be open there was only a handful
of people there. This meant no standing in lines! The guys
wore themselves out and were ready to go home at 4:00.
