People of all ages who love to learn new things are welcome to attend. This year's programs have primarily focused on North Carolina. We have heard about the renewable energy in our forests, the fun in searching for gold, exploring the state with Tom Ernhardt, and visiting the Walnut Creek Wetland Center. Every November we invite Nancy Olson, proprietor of Quail Ridge Books, to review her favorite new books. Advents we invite the congregation to donate gifts for people who eat at the Meals on Wheels congregate center. At our December meeting we wrap these gifts. |
