Rev. Jenny Shultz-Thomas
Pastor Jenny Shultz-Thomas plans to preach from the lectionary most Sundays.  The lectionary is a schedule for readings from the Bible to be used for personal study and in worship services.  Most lectionaries run in three year cycles and relate to the rhythms of the church year:  Advent, Christmas, Epiphany, Lent, Holy Week, Easter, Pentecost, ordinary time.  These rhythms emphasize major events in the life of Jesus.  The lectionary readings highlight those events and connect them to readings from the Hebrew scriptures, a psalm, and a writing from the early church.

For those interested in delving deeper, Pastor recommends the Weekly Seeds studies from the United Church of Christ.

You can listen to past sermons delivered at Community UCC. Regular archiving of sermons began in January 2015. Most of the earlier archived sermons are video or audio recordings from special occasions in earlier years.

The available sermons are listed here in reverse chronological order, and links provided will be of four types.
