Fellowship after worship – After morning worship, everyone is encouraged to go to our fellowship hall to share food and conversation. Members provide food for this supportive atmosphere by signing up for Sundays of their choosing. During these times, we celebrate special events such as graduations, birthdays, and to welcome new members and visitors to our church.

Growth - New people to CUCC  tell us joyfully, “I never knew there was a church like this.”  The Growth Committee works to get the word out to people who might be looking for a church like CUCC.  We also assist those new to CUCC to get to know the congregation better as they discern whether this is a church family for them.    Needed:  people with a desire to spread the word about CUCC and with skills in writing personal notes, doing PR, or making people feel at home.

Newcomers’ Supper – This quarterly supper for those new to CUCC is a time to get to know a few regular CUCCers and ask questions about the congregation, theology, or just about anything else.  Offer to serve as a table host, to cook part of a meal, or to pitch in with clean up.

Welcoming, Fellowship and Growth Ministry – Welcoming, Fellowship and Growth Ministry is a creative ministry that encourages people to be a part of Community United Church of Christ, a congregation that seeks to extend radical hospitality to all in an environment that is loving, caring and nurturing.   We plan events and offer services which build friendships.  In addition to being the coordinating group for the work listed above, we plan the Babies We Love celebration on Epiphany Sunday, the P2e watermelon seed spitting contest near the fourth of July, Welcoming Sunday worship on the first Sunday after Labor Day, and the Adult Christmas party on the second Saturday of December.  Throughout the year we plan discussion groups, potlucks, excursions (baseball, hikes)....
